I suppose I would consider myself to be a spiritual Christian. Mainstream or organized religion has never quite been a fit for me, but the teachings of Jesus Christ has always been at the core of my beliefs. I've been on my spiritual journey for awhile, but a lot of times I felt like I was just going in circles. Now it seems I'm finally starting to see a path ... MY path appearing before me.
So much to do, so much to learn, but I can honestly say I'm enjoying my journey and the new discoveries and friends I meet along the way :).

An Interesting Occurence

I was standing outside talking to my mom on the phone when out of the corner of my eye I noticed a sudden movement not far above my head. I quickly looked up and saw what appeared to be a hawk with a male blue jay (brightly colored) in it's talons. What was quite interesting to me was that there were 3-4 other birds flying after the hawk making quite a ruckus. I'm not sure what types of birds they were, but based based on what I recall and judging by the coloring my guess is they were female.… Continue
